Leprechaun Bark

Today (17 March) is St Patrick’s Day!

Let’s celebrate Ireland’s Patron Saint with a party filled with music, laughter, fun food, rainbows, gold coins and plenty of green!

Continuing on with our celebrations, (click here for a whole host of party inspiration), we’re publishing this super fun, super pretty and super easy recipe (with only six ingredients).

Only requiring a microwave we think any tween can make it and all little leprechauns will love it!

This recipe is reproduced with great thanks from www.thisnthatwitholivia.com please click the link here to follow her step-by-step instructions.

INGREDIENTS

Gold ball sprinkles
Multi-coloured confetti sprinkles
1/2 cup Marshmallows, mini
1/2 cup Mint M&M's candies
1 12oz bag Wilton dark cocoa candy melts
5 to 6 rainbow sour strips

METHOD

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Add the cooking chocolate to a bowl and microwave in short 15 second bursts, stirring between each until melted. (Chocolate can be tricky to melt so make sure you do it slowly!)

Pour the melted chocolate on to the parchment-lined baking pan and smooth out with a rubber spatula.

Top with all your favourite toppings, chill until set then cut or break into pieces.

YUM!
