Here at Franc.World, a huge focus for us is about starting conversations and learning. Knowledge empowers us all to live our best lives and make the most of every moment.

Some conversations however can be harder than others. Take your period for example. A normal part of life that many go through on a monthly basis. It’s so natural in fact, that for it to be considered a taboo subject, in this day and age, is almost laughable. That combined with the fact that #periodpoverty* is a significant cause for concern here in Australia and worldwide – a societal issue that must be talked about and reversed!

*the lack of access to sanitary products, facilities and menstrual hygiene education.

We have therefore put together a list of great resources that are available online and accessible to all (note some options below are paid, however there are plenty of free resources available which we have also listed). These sites are all about the BIG P: periods, puberty, preparation and practical advice…
