Tween Winter Wardrobe
It’s finally coming into Winter in Australia. That means boots, jeans, jackets and cosy knits. But what to buy your tween girl this season that will ensure she actually wears something other than her oodie 24/7.
Tweens of course are notoriously hard to dress – changing tastes, styles and body shapes make it hard to shop for them and sometimes even harder to shop with them! While they may mostly wear a uniform, buying a few key pieces should see them dressed warmly and well - for the next few months at least!
Jacket
A versatile casual jacket that goes with everything is a must for every wardrobe. While pockets and a hood will usually match her style, a dark colour will ensure it can go several wears between washes!
Try one of these one on for size.
Jeans
Tween girls have just as much trouble as grown women when trying to find a pair of jeans that fit. They need to stretch, be super comfortable and be high-waisted enough to ensure undies don’t stick out the back!
We love these Tili skinny jeans (the ripped style makes them very ‘on trend’ for tweens).
‘Good’ Jumper
Need to go out to dinner, or your great aunt Cheryl’s birthday? Your tween needs one ‘good’ jumper for just that occasion. Sure they can wear it at other times, but keeping an outfit for ‘good’, means that you know they’ll look presentable and there *shouldn’t* be any arguments on what she’s going to wear.
