Alice-Miranda in Paris
Everyone loves a series. Familiar characters, the excitement of a new title being released and a certain reliability that you already know you’re going to like the book.
The Alice-Miranda series is no different and with titles like Alice-Miranda in China, or Alice-Miranda in Hollywood or Alice-Miranda in New York, you also know there is going to be enough glitz, glam and wanderlust to keep things interesting.
Alice-Miranda in Paris takes place during Paris Fashion Week and brings mystery and intrigue as well as a certain fashionable flair. While it is fine to read as a standalone, there are a fair few references to happenings in prior books, so it would make more sense to read the series from the very beginning, with the first book being Alice-Miranda at School.
Written by Australian author Jacqueline Harvey, (a former boarding school teacher), the books are fun to explore, though do use an extensive vocabulary, making them an acceptable challenge for readers.
